End of Lease Cleaning – Terms and Conditions

By making a booking and submitting payment for our End of Lease Cleaning Service, you (the "Customer") agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Booking Availability

End of lease cleaning appointments are available between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

All bookings must be made at least 72 hours (3 days) in advance of the requested service date.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service time.

Changes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed by The Company.

A $100 cancellation fee applies to all bookings cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled time will result in forfeit of payment.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

Meriton facilitates bookings with preferred third-party service providers who deliver the cleaning services.

By proceeding with the booking, the Customer acknowledges that:

This is a referral arrangement only;

The cleaning services are not performed directly by Meriton;

Meriton is not responsible or liable for the performance, conduct, or outcomes of services rendered by the referred service providers.

4. Limitation of Liability

The Customer agrees that Meriton shall not be held liable for:

Any loss, damage, delay, or failure arising from the acts or omissions of the third-party providers;

Any property damage, personal injury, or consequential loss related to the cleaning services.

Any concerns or claims arising from the service must be directed to the service provider that performed the cleaning.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer must ensure the premises are accessible at the agreed time and in a condition suitable for cleaning (e.g., no active tenancies, clear of personal belongings - no responsibility is taken for items left in the property).

Failure to provide access or an appropriate cleaning environment may result in cancellation without refund.

6. Payment

Payment is due in full at the time of booking via the online platform.

Bookings will not be confirmed until payment has been received.

Any additional fees and charges will be sent to the Customer’s email via an invoice and payment will be due within 7 days of the date on the invoice.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the service is performed.
